Really, I've looked and there's a huge lack of good free WYSIWYG editors so this one's a welcome addition. There's just a couple things that need to be fixed:
- the button images are missing from the distribution. I've made a bunch of them them myself but they really should be included.
- no Mozilla (Firebird) support. Comes up with a few Javascript errors.

Yahh, Mozilla' support-- that's problem. Now only IE suppoorted.
I read about modas, but this technology only for mozilla. What about Opera, Concuier etc.?
Any ideas?

Not sure. If the makers of Javascript intepreters made it all inconsistent then so much is going to be difficult. I got most of it working in Mozilla with only minor changes but at the cost of no longer working in IE. Having a different js for each browser is a pain. Really, someone should put the IE and the old Netscape teams in a room with some wiffle bats and let them have it out until there's a real winner. Then we can have some consistency.
But really, the Wysarea component has a chance to really change how we enter text in a web page. Even the window I am typing in right now can benefit from it. Has anybody ever looked at how Google and Hotmail solve this?

I've seen in blogger a textarea where you could insert images, font styles like bold, italic, underline, etc... It worked fine in Mozilla, I suppose they worked hard to make different JS versions for the most popular browsers. ..
Still, this class is great for closed applications, if you develop a custom web app for some customer that you know uses IE at work.
